There are “no words to explain” how a father and daughter left behind by a triple-homicide in Ajax last week are feeling. Vas Pejcinovski, father of Roy and Vana Pejcinovski, spoke out publicly on Thursday for the first time since their deaths — to announce a memorial fund in honour of the kids and their mother, Krissy. “Our hearts are broken,” Pejcinovski wrote in a statement through the Greater Toronto Hockey League. “We have lost our beloved Krissy, Roy, and Vana and our lives will never be the same.”The kids and their mother were killed last Wednesday, in what police are calling a domestic incident. Cory Fenn, 29, has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder in their deaths. Police believe he and Krissy had been in a relationship. A description of the fund established by Pejcinovski and his surviving daughter, Victoria, paints vivid pictures of the three lives lost. He was caring, charismatic, and funny. He loved his hockey team. Vana was “a sweet and joyful girl,” full of life, who would “light up any room she entered.” Vas and Victoria, the description says, will determine where any funds donated in their memory will be contributed — to “meaningfully honour their memory.” “I put my faith in God to give us comfort and guide us through this long journey toward healing,” Vas wrote in his statement. A funeral for the three is planned for Saturday. Vas thanked Roy’s hockey team, the Don Mills Flyers, the Greater Toronto Hockey League, the hockey community at large, the owners and families of Roy’s school, Crestwood Preparatory School, Lakeside Public School, Spa Sedona, and those who created and contributed to the various GoFundMe pages covering the family’s cost ...
